Why Practice?

"A good place to begin is with Shakyamuni Buddha. He started practising because he recognised the pervasive nature of suffering. Before he started practising, his was a lifestyle that many upwardly mobile people today would strive to achieve- wealth, position, a beautiful wife, servants, entertainments - a princely life! Yet it didn't satisfy."
